Provision of Integrated Sexual and Reproductive Health Services - AWARD

Tender description

Bedford Borough (BB) and Central Bedfordshire (CB) Councils are seeking a provider to deliver services that improve and protect the sexual and reproductive health of residents across BB and CB; forging effective partnerships with NHS Trusts and wider partners including charitable sector organisations and local communities, in order to improve service user care, pathways and outcomes. The provider and the Councils will work together to shape the service based on the identified sexual and reproductive health needs of specific populations within the local authority areas. This will include those groups where the burden of sexual ill health is recognised to be greater, but also particularly vulnerable groups, those with protected characteristics and others. The provider must recognise the need to be responsive to changing needs and emerging trends both locally and nationally - this may include emerging infections, new technologies, a changing population profile, and/or changing behaviours.
