1026 Essex Household Waste Composition Analysis

Tender description

Essex County Council (ECC) wishes to undertake a full baseline compositional analysis of residual waste at both kerbside and Recycling Centres for Household Waste to inform key strategic decisions in relation to future service provision and the design of behaviour change interventions. ECC may also commission further studies to measure the impact of interventions and to deepen understanding of participation in waste collection and recycling schemes. Potential Bidders should note the value on this FTS Notice is inclusive of any potential spend for further works either in the contract period, or any extension period. The Authority has a budget for the services described within the Services Specification published with this Tender of £240,000. The Authority intends to hold a Bidders Day event week commencing 17th June; further details will be published via a public message on the ProContract portal.
