Tender description

School workshops: medium size lanterns made in each school. Artist to provide workshops in each school to support to help make them. Each lantern to be different and unique to each school and will be paraded through town on night of lights switch-on. After the parade, they will be displayed for the month of December in Newquay businesses in the town centre and be part a trail around town for people to find. Community workshops: small lanterns made during artist-led workshops in library (2 to 3 workshops throughout November). Lanterns made will be paraded through town and then either donated back to those who made them or displayed temporarily (tbc). Parade: to take place on night of lights switch-on Fri 1st Dec, 5-6pm
