Contract 53 Responsive Roofing 2023-2025

Tender description

The Authority is seeking expressions of interest from suitably skilled and experienced Contractors to enter into a framework agreement for the delivery of Responsive Roofing 2023 to assist with the delivery of the Authoritys responsive repairs plan. The Framework arrangement will consist of an initial term of 2 years, plus two extension options of up to 12 months each at the sole discretion of the Authority and it is anticipated to have a maximum of 5 Contractors on the Framework.\r \r The main areas of activity may comprise of, but not exclusively be limited to, providing support to the repairs and maintenance team as and when roof repairs are reported as well as occasionally providing further support with larger projects, such as replacement roofs to fire damaged properties or other vacant properties in need of refurbishment.\r \r The Authority will be acting as Principal Contractor and the successful Framework Contractors will be Sub Contractors to the Authority. The successfully awarded Contractors will be required to work together with North Tyneside Council to drive improvements and support the aims and ambitions of the Contract.
