Experience Newquay visitor destination evaluation /SWRC

Tender description

Cornwall Council is seeking to appoint a destination visitor research specialist to report on economic and environmental visitor impacts to Newquay and the immediate surrounding area. Experience Newquay is looking to extend the visitor season and grow visitor numbers during the traditionally quieter season (Oct-Mar). The project team has developed an evaluation plan with a mix of data collection methods, including visitor surveying analysis to report against its funding targets. The project is looking to have comparable data between the low and peak season to monitor against the project’s key funding targets. The visitor research programme will run throughout the project lifespan (until Mar 2025) and the chosen supplier will work with the project throughout this time, revisiting the survey on a seasonal basis to ensure comparable data seasonally. The project must work with an organisation that is licensed to conduct destination visitor research in Cornwall, using the Cambridge Economic Model, to ensure comparable data.
