Tender description

Newcastle City Council (‘the Council’) currently operates an in-house service for School Meals in 87 schools, 9 of these schools operate a biometric system for the payment of the school meals. The Councils contractual arrangements for our School Biometrics System is due to expire in Summer 2024, the Authority is currently considering options for the renewal of this software. As part of this process the Council is conducting a Market Engagement Exercise to establish the level of interest in this opportunity, to gather information and improve our understanding of the market In preparation for a potential future procurement exercise for our Schools Biometric System, which would advertised be via an open tender on the NEPO Portal, we would request that you take part in this event as arranged. Suppliers are being given an opportunity to demonstrate their product, which will assist the Council with their specification and tender preparations.
