Soft Market Test - Carriageway Surfacing

Tender description

Leicestershire County Council are currently preparing to issue a tender for Carriageway Surfacing, with the Contract Notice anticipated to be published in November 2023. This is to replace the Carriageway Surfacing Framework Contract 2020 (currently in place). The Council is looking to appoint suitably experienced contractor(s) to undertake carriageway surfacing and resurfacing, and associated works to all classes of road within Leicestershire, and invite interested organisations to register an interest and to possibly discuss the requirements further. Nature and extent of service or works: • Provision of all necessary traffic management (if not provided by the Employer) • Carriageway milling • Adjustment and/or replacement of carriageway ironwork • Surfacing of carriageways - e.g. surface course, binder course, base. • White lining (if not provided by the Employer) • Other associated works as required e.g. minor civils: kerbs, ducts, footways • Ability to source specialist and innovative carriageway surfacing treatments Please note that this is not a call for competition, and any information given above is not guaranteed within any subsequent procurement, only indicative of our potential requirements.
