Tender description

Tipperary County Council proposes to engage in a competitive process for the establishment of a Single Party Framework Agreement for the Provision of Costing, Business Planning, Financial Analysis, Market Research and Economic Appraisal Services. A framework agreement constitutes a means of establishing overall terms and conditions in accordance with which, for a specified duration, individual contracts may or may not be awarded. Tipperary County Council is seeking tenders from relevant qualified consultants/service providers with strong economic appraisal experience, including destination tourism planning experience, and all necessary expertise to establish the Framework as outlined above. The initial contract will be to provide the services outlined above. This initial contract involves a detailed study to ascertain the company structure, annual operational costs and viability of a Bulmers Experience Centre (‘Dowds Lane Visitor Experience Centre’) at the Clonmel Town Centre Dowd’s Lane site, the original site of cider production in the town, and the delivery of a comprehensive report detailing the findings of the study, accompanied by an in-person presentation by the report authors to the Chief Executive (CE) of Tipperary County Council and other stakeholders.
