Heritage Carbon Literacy Training Framework

Historic England has a commitment to become Net Zero and to support heritage organisations on their own journeys to Net Zero. To support this initiative, Historic England wishes to roll out Carbon Literacy training, both to organisations in the heritage sector and its own staff over the next two years.Historic England seeks to engage around 6 trainers for the delivery of this training over a four-year period. There will be three possible versions of the course depending on audience needs. (see section 1 for course definitions). 1 The training courses to be delivered: a Heritage Carbon Literacy courseThis course is primarily aimed at heritage organisations in the sector.Historic England has developed with partners a Heritage Carbon Literacy training course that is accredited by the Carbon Literacy Project (https://carbonliteracy.com/).
