Tender description

The service provides maintenance and support of the Unix server estate and underlying operating system. The Council has 4 Enterprise Class Unix servers (2 of which are located at Datavita and 2 which are hosted in the Motherwell Civic Data Centre). These 4 physical servers which have approx. 28 zones include 2 Production, 1 Development/UAT and 1 Disaster Recovery environments. Within these environments are a mix of key Oracle DB (in-house and vendor supported) applications and Progress OpenEdge DB applications.
