Derry City and Strabane District Council (DCSDC) is seeking to appoint an Integrated Consultant Team (ICT) to provide an ‘Inspecting Engineer’, as defined in the yet to be fully implemented Reservoir Act (Northern Ireland) 2015 (i.e. the Act), to undertake an inspection and report on the condition of the Upper and Lower Reservoirs at Creggan Country Park, Derry in line with the requirements of the Act. DCSDC currently owns the leasehold for the two reservoirs and the country park within which they are located. Council now seeks to appoint an ICT to provide an ‘Inspecting Engineer’ to undertake a further inspection and report on the current condition of the Upper and Lower Reservoirs at Creggan Country Park, Derry in line with the requirements of the Act. Separately and independently from the Inspecting Engineer, the ICT shall provide a ‘Qualified Civil Engineer’ to design and supervise those works deemed in the Inspecting Engineer’s report.
