Waterways Ireland has a need to procure the services of a suitable Management Consultant to implement a Project Management Office (PMO) in the organisation. The requirement includes the introduction, development and successful delivery of a PMO within Waterways Ireland to support delivery of programmes and projects in achieving organisation objectives. The requirement also includes the research, assistance with procurement and implementation of an appropriate PMO System in the organisation. The expectation is the consultancy will provide a suitably qualified individual to implement, manage and ensure a smooth hand over of the established PMO to an appointed individual within Waterways Ireland within a 12 month period. Preparatory work has been completed within the organisation through the development of a Capital Expenditure Manual and Project Management procedures which will help inform the organisations requirements of a PMO and PMO System.
