Construction of sports pitch and soft play area. The project covers the construction of a natural turf sports and soft play area adjacent to the new Thornhill Primary School construction, including; o site preparations o level adjustments and earthworks o sports surface land drainage o cultivations, soil amendment (amelioration) o seedbed preparation and maintenance to handover and first use All works recognising Sport England Natural Turf for Sport design guidance notes 2011 with the ultimate aim of creating natural turf sports surface area compliant with sport England PQS (performance quality standards) achieved for year round uses subject to management and maintenance regimes are to be adopted. The site is located in Houghton Regis, Bedfordshire. Provision Is to be made for the urban nature of the site access routes and local traffic conditions/associated restrictions.
