Contract for the Provision of Vision Screening Services

Tender description

The service will carry out the vision screening programme for Oxfordshire, which includes vision screening clinical examinations on eligible children in the Foundation Stage (aged 4-5) years old in state-maintained, independent, and special school settings in Oxfordshire during the academic year. The screening service will be orthoptist led and delivery will be in line with national recommendations as detailed in the PHE national guidance and in accordance with the vision screening competencies. The contract period is 12 months, commencing on 1 June 2023. There is no option to extend the contract period.
