CONTRACT FOR THE PROVISION OF GET STARTED & GROW BUSINESS SERVICES

Tender description

During Covid 19 Staffordshire County Council (SCC) were successful in bidding into the Governments Community Renewal fund, for start-up business support. The scheme has been running successfully for over 18 months now. The scheme was set up originally to support start-up businesses aged 0-2 years across the county excluding Stoke on Trent. This scheme was created to complement the existing start up offer of free mentoring support and the Start-up Loan Scheme. Two offers were made available free of charge to businesses, Marketing or Accountancy. The Scheme was extended in late 2022 to offer support to step up businesses aged 2-5 years. Since the scheme has been live, over 600 EOIs have been received. We wish to continue this support offered to businesses. We have again since extended the support offered this year to now include Human Resources (HR) advice and Legal advice. Businesses can only access one strand of support. Lot 1 - Get Started and grow in Marketing Services -Website, Logo and Branding Lot 2 - Get Started & Grow in Marketing Services -Social Media Lot 3 - Get Started and grow in Finance Lot 4 - Get started and grow in Legal Lot 5 - Get started and grow in Human Resources Lots 1 - 5 will be a single Provider for each Lot. Providers may only tender for 1(one) Lot. The initial duration is for the period 3rd July 2023 until 24th April 2024 with an option to extend for a further 2 x 12 months to 30th April 2026 at the discretion of the Council and subject to the Government Funding. The anticipated spend is a total of £60,000 per annum total across the 5 lots, within an anticipated 3 year contract spend of £180,000 total.
