Tender description
We would like to invite you to attend the third market engagement event for a Plymouth Domestic Abuse Service. When: Monday 14th August, 10:00 to 12:00. The room will be available until 14:00. Where: Astor Room, Plymouth Guildhall, Royal Parade, Plymouth, PL1 2BJ The third session will give an overview of the draft service specification and procurement process allowing time for discussion and questions from 10:00 to 12:00. The room will be available until 14:00 for organisations wishing to stay behind after the event has ended to eat lunch and network. We are seeking to procure an integrated service providing safe accommodation and support for adults and children; therapeutic counselling; behaviour change programmes for those who harm and a programme of workforce development and advice. We are striving for a service that: ? Delivers support to anyone experiencing (or impacted by) domestic abuse ? Committed to trauma informed practice, prioritises kindness and doing the right thing ? Is a passionate advocate for domestic abuse victims/survivors ? Committed to collaboration and a strong prevention model focussed on behaviour and cultural change We are seeking a provider that will: ? Be a strategic partner and leader that will be the expert and specialist for Plymouth ? Is willing to try new things through a test and learn approach ? Be open to forming a partnership arrangement to deliver the service ? See themselves as part of a collective response in the city The formal business case to proceed with procurement was granted approval from Plymouth City Councils Cabinet on Thursday the 8th of December 2022 and has been published here.
