Derry City and Strabane District Council invites tenders from suitable applicants for a range of Employment Training Academies on behalf of the Derry and Strabane Labour Market Partnership (DSLMP). Through the 2023/24 Action Plan DSLMP strive to improve employability outcomes and / or labour market conditions locally and are seeking tenders from companies who have the required experience and qualifications in delivering and managing training programmes that directly results in certified license holders and leads to employment. Employment Academies are to be delivered to citizens of the DCSDC area, including providing intensive support to move participants into viable paid employment. The Academies are to furnish participants with the skills, knowledge, qualifications, and licenses required to take up employment in their chosen area.
