GB-Colchester: Lighting replacement of existing gallery and cinema and external repairs

Tender description

Firstsite wishes to commission specialist gallery lighting design services to deliver a design for the specified areas of the building as attributed to this element of a wider lighting replacement project across the building, working in collaboration with a Main Contractor. This tender package has been compiled to assist in obtaining bids from prospective Specialist Gallery Lighting design companies. Appointment will be direct to Firstsite. However, the main construction elements of the project will be delivered by a Main Contractor following a traditional procurement route. The Main Contractor will project manage the entire lighting replacement project and sub-contract all other relevant trades, including an electrical contractor. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
