Epping Forest Conservation Tree Surgery Contract

Tender description

The City of London Corporation (the City) invites Tenders for the provision of an Epping Forest Conservation Tree Surgery contract. This tender is for the provision of arboriculture services to contribute to the delivery of Epping Forest's Countryside Stewardship Scheme (CSS) agreement. The works are funded by the UK government's CSS grant. We are seeking two contractors who have previous experience of providing similar works, as described in the Schedule of Work, in a high value nature conservation site that has veteran trees (Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) & Special Area of Conservation (SAC)) that is open to the public. The services are being tendered as 4 separate lots, as described in the specification. Bidders must tender for a minimum of two (2) lots. The City will only be awarded any two (2) of the four (4) lots. In the event that a single bidder scores achieves the highest overall evaluated score for more than two (2) lots, the City will determine which lots are to be awarded to that bidder based upon the lowest priced commercial schedule for each lot. Additional information: This tendering exercise is being undertaken using the electronic tendering system 'capitalEsourcing' (www.capitalesourcing.com). Supplier will need to register an interest on the system in order to participate and registration is free.
