Community Education Programme under the Social Inclusion and Community Activation Programme

Tender description

CCP requests Tenders for the: • Delivery and monitoring of accredited Community Based Adult Education Courses, developed in collaboration with 10 Community Education Networks in Cork City • Support and monitoring of in-school and after-school supports to prevent early school leaving at primary and post primary levels. The successful tenderer must deliver these services in line with the Department of Environment, Community and Local Government SICAP’s Programme Specifications see: https://www.pobal.ie/Publications/Documents/SICAP% 20Requirements%202015%20V1.1.pdf Please note these requirements may change from time to time and it is critical that the successful tenderer adheres to any changes. The specific target groups for these contracted services are:- • Children and Families in Disadvantaged Areas • Lone Parents • New Communities (including refugees/asylum seekers) • People living in Disadvantaged Communities • People with Disabilties • Roma • The Unemployed (including those not on the Live Register) • Travellers • Young unemployed people living in disadvantaged areas • NEETs – Young people aged 15 – 24 years who are not in employment, education or training The successful tenderer will fulfil all obligations in relation to this contract with Cork City Partnership in the delivery, monitoring and evaluation of these services. The target area for the delivery of the services in this tender is Cork City.
