Supply of Floor Plates for 29000 DMU Fleet

Iarnród Éireann (IÉ) is seeking to enter into a supply agreement with a specialist company[s] who can supply laminated aluminium floor plates/sheets which are required for the repair of interior floor structures on IÉ’s 29000 DMU Fleet. The floor plates will be fixed to the vehicle structure with self-tapping screws and overlaid with a synthetic rubber safety floor covering that will be bonded to the floor sheet. The structural properties, fire performance and sound insulation characteristics of the floor plates must be suitable for its intended purpose, as described above, and the edges of the plates must be sealed to protect against moisture absorption. The supply agreement will cover the supply and delivery of approximately 50no. floor plates per annum on a call off basis to IÉ’s Central Stores in Inchicore, brief product requirements are outlined in the questionnaire attached to this notice.
