AT1203 - Replacement Water Goods on Domestic Housing

Tender description

BTS employs 265 staff and delivers new build projects, day to day repairs, and cyclical maintenance and refurbishment projects for internal clients and has a housing stock of around 8000 dwellings made up of individual flats, houses, sheltered schemes and High Rise blocks. The requirement of the Council and BTS for this tender specifically is as follows (but not limited to): • The council are tendering for installation and supplying of rain water goods support due to leaseholder properties which require us to go out and tender for these works. • Guttering work is important to the council as its properties need to be well maintained to reduce future costs. There is a requirement for the Council to replace rain water goods which are no longer fit for purpose in accordance with Decent Homes legislation. • It is the council’s expectation that the winning provider(s) of these works would employ professional roofers who qualified to at least City and Guilds Level 2, or apprentices working towards this level of qualification. • The council would expect all winning providers to comply with the Health and Safety at work act 1974, Asbestos regulations 2012 and the councils Code of conduct. The tender will be for removal works of current rain water goods which compromises of soffits fascia and guttering as well as supplying and installing new soffits fascia and guttering. The contractor will also be required to replace the felt 3 stiles back only. The supplies will come directly to site for these works.
