Tender description

The objective of this programme is to manage this grant to increase the business skills and confidence of the participants to enable them to build sustainable social enterprises (or trading arms of charities) capable of growth. We are looking for multiple business support grant administrators to deliver this programme under different Lots, the Business Support providers need to demonstrate their ability to support trading Social Economy organisations in the West Midlands, who are at varying stages of development. Lot 1: Start – peer learning & grant for the leaders of 42 social economy trading organisations started since the outbreak of Covid with income between £15k & £50k pa Lot 2: Build – peer learning & grant for the leaders of 21 social economy trading organisations over 2 years old with income between £50k and £100k pa Lot 3: Grow – peer learning & grant for the leaders of for 42 social economy trading organisations with income of between £100k and £500k pa Lot 4: Accelerate – peer learning & grant for the leaders of for 15 social economy trading organisations with income in excess of £500k pa Lot 5: Sustain – one to one follow-on support for the 120 participants from Lots 1 to 4 Lot 6: Readiness – training for at least 40 leaders of social economy trading organisations who are ready to bid for public sector contracts and/or take on social investment plus awareness building for public sector commissioners and/or social investment providers.
