Tender description

Awarded to Prescott Special Projects Ltd via TfGM Highways Framework Chorley Old Road is a major route to Bolton town centre. The works are located close to residential properties and businesses; care should be taken when planning TM to ensure disruption to access is minimised. An existing Zebra crossing will be replaced with a Puffin as part of the works. It will be necessary to ensure a controlled crossing facility of Chorley Old Road is maintained within the vicinity for the duration of the works. It is intended that the works will be progressed via an Experimental Traffic Regulation Order, to be enacted by Bolton Council in July / August 2023.
