Tender description
The development comprises the construction of 12 no. new build dwellings. The dwellings are a mix of unit types consisting of 4 no. 3 bedroomed 2 storey houses, 6 no. 2 bedroom single storey houses and 2 No. 1 bedroom apartments in a total of 6 no. semi-detached blocks, along with all ancillary site works summarised as follows: - Relocation of existing overhead utilities including undergrounding of Eir and ESB lines, new ESB poles and the provision of a new ESB Substation - Site clearance including removal of existing trees, gorse and bushes - Demolition of a small shed and section of mass concrete boundary wall to the North-West corner of the site - Removal and segregation of mixed debris, waste and rubble tipped on the site to a licenced landfill facility by a licenced haulage contractor - Removal of inert soil and rock material excavated from site to a licenced landfill facility by a licenced haulage contractor - Diversion of existing open drain flowing through the site and the construction of a new storm water pipework and attenuation system - The construction of 4 no. 3 bedroomed two storey semi-detached dwellings - The construction of 2 no. 1 bedroom apartments in a single two storey block - The construction of 6 no. 2 bedroom single storey houses - The construction of new access road, car parking and green spaces to the rear - A mixture of timber palisade and chainlink fences to south, east and north boundaries of the site - Blockwork bounday walls to be constructed around gardens - Stone boundary walls to be constructed to the front gardens - Timber palisade boundary walls to be constructed between gardens - Chainlink fences to be constructed to the east boundary of the site - Site development and surfacing works such as roads, paths and parking set to relevant falls. - New connections to public utilities for all units including Electricity, Telecoms, Water, Sewers, Storm drainage along with the provision of new street lighting and outlets for Electric Vehicle charging.
