The National Flat Programme for Remedial Work to Passive Fire Measures

LiveWest are seeking Contractors to attend inspections (alongside the Contract Administrator (CA)) and to subsequently carry out associated remedial work of passive fire measures within their stock of apartment blocks. The form of Contract will be JCT 2016 MTC and will run for an initial 2-year period with a possible further two 1-year extensions. The current workload includes approximately 300 blocks of flats of various sizes ranging from maisonettes to four storey blocks with multiple units requiring remedials. Across the 2 areas there are Lot1 - South, including but not limited to Exeter, Truro, Plymouth, Taunton, Yeovil • 32 blocks requiring full inspection to assess the extent of the works. • 89 blocks requiring partial inspection. * • 141 blocks requiring remedial works. Lot 2 -North including but not limited to Weston Super mare, Bristol, Bath, Swindon, • 85 blocks requiring full inspection to assess the extent of the works. • 75 blocks requiring partial inspection. * • 32 blocks requiring remedial works. * Inspections have begun on these blocks. The successful tenderer will attend the remaining inspections. It is expected the successful tenderer will revisit the partially completed blocks to check measurements etc. Any requests for clarifications shall be processed through the e-procurement portal and published to all tenderers where appropriate.
