Works to cover to the full construciton of the development including but not limited to: site preparation, sub structure, super structure, MEP, testing and commisioning, O&M preparation The brief from the client was to provide 8 No Semi-detached, supported living bungalows. All houses to be suitable for residents who are wheelchair users and to be adaptable to a variety of additional needs. Each property was to be a 2 bedroom dwelling with a small private garden area. The client asked for for a high quality of design throughout with each dwelling being designed to the Passivhaus standard of low energy design with an overall heating load of less than 15 Kwh/sq.m. As well as the 8 bungalows, there is an on-site office building (which follows the same form as the houses) providing on-site care to the residents.
