Annual servicing and maintenance of various fixed and mobile patient lifting hoists, including annual load tests at various OIC properties for a contract period of 3 years with an option to extend 1-2 years upon agreement of both parties. Annual servicing and maintenance of fixed and mobile patient lifting hoists at various OIC properties for period of 3 years, with an option to extend 1-2 years upon agreement of both parties. There are 25 properties which are mainly care homes, schools and public buildings located on the Orkney Mainland as well as the outer islands. The contractor will be required to visit each property and inspect, maintain and service the equipment following which a detailed inspection report should be issued. The contractor should also undertake an annual load test on the fixed and mobile hoists (as a minimum tested with maximum load) at the same time as the maintenance and inspection visit, the results of the load test must be recorded on the inspection report. The contractor should also supply and replace lifting belts to the fixed hoists every 2 years, followed by a load test and relevant inspections. The successful contractor may also be required to provide repairs to hoists on a reactive basis.
