Tender description

The Council strives to communicate effectively with all of its residents, workforce, visitors and businesses. A key method of doing this is through press releases issued to the media. Additionally, the Council issues responses to enquiries from the media. While much of this work is with local media outlets and contacts, owing to the wide range of services it provides and initiatives in which it is involved, the Council also needs to send release and information to specialist media and journalists and therefore requires access to an up-to-date, searchable database of publications and journalists from which it can compile distribution lists.
