Tender description
Hampshire County Council Children's Services Department have established an Open Framework under the light touch regime. The open framework hosts Ofsted registered training providers, rated good or above, to deliver the Multiply programme. Multiply is a national government-funded scheme aimed at helping adults improve their numeracy skills. The funding is available for adults (aged 19 and over) who do not currently have a Level 2/GCSE maths at grade 4 (previously known as grade C). HCC's Multiply programme enables specific target groups to be engaged in learning - including refugees, people with a lived experience of the justice system, adults with SEND and people living in rural/isolated communities. The overarching strategic aim is to improve adult skills levels, increasing literacy, numeracy and digital skills for life and work. HCC will also work through the employer networks, not only to promote and deliver Multiply, but also to encourage employers to diversify the talent pool that they draw from and support neurodiversity within their workforce, helping them to address identified skills needs alongside providing opportunities for people with additional needs.
