The Council is aiming to deliver the following: • A fully integrated Childrens & Education Management Platform utilising current modern technologies that comply with the Government’s security recommendations. • A seamless transition from the current arrangements to a new arrangement must be completed and all services be available from 01.04.2025. • Achieve best value for the Council for all aspects of the contract including: o Consultancy costs, o Implementation costs, o Ongoing support and maintenance costs, o Licensing costs o Software upgrade costs • Provide the flexibility to add and remove modules/functionality as and when the Council dictates. • Allows everything to be under one (1) overarching contract. • The system needs to be adaptable to changes in Government Legislation at no cost to the Council. • The system must allow interface and data integration to and from other external systems. • Provide a flexible data allowance should the Council wish to add-on any additional modules/functionality. • Assign at least one Account Manager to address the Council’s need and provide account support such as: o Making the Council aware of any new technologies from which it may benefit. o Maximise efficiency, reduce running costs and achieve overall best value. o Provide technical support and guidance on various initiatives the Council may wish to undertake. o Assist with invoicing queries if required and help resolve disputes. Any details on indicative prices and potential solutions to this would be appreciated. Please note that this is a market research exercise to understand market conditions and whether providers would be able to meet our demands as outlined above.
