708252450 - Provision of HORUS Software Support

Tender description

Air Platform Systems Delivery Team (APS DT), part of the Ministry of Defence ("the Authority"), intends to place a ten-year contract with Leonardo UK Ltd for the through-life support of Horus Mission Data Generator (MDG) & Mission Analysis Suite (MAS) software suite including maintenance, technical engineering software support, training, and associated software updates. Leonardo UK Ltd were responsible for the original development and maintenance of this software in conjunction with the Defensive Aides Suite (DAS) installed on multiple platforms. The Authority has determined this single source contract is excluded from Defence and Security Public Contracts Regulations 2011 under Regulation 7(1)(a) in conjunction with Regulation 6(3A) (a). Leonardo UK Ltd are the only supplier with the necessary technical knowledge and experience to provide the required maintenance, technical support and post-design services to the HORUS software.
