Warehousing and Self Storage Service

Tender description

NHS Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Berkshire West Integrated Care Board (the 'ICB') sought to commission self-storage units to store IT equipment across three geographical areas as detailed below: Scope of areas: • 5 mile radius of OX4 2TZ - 400 sq ft • 5 mile radius of HP11 1LJ - 200 sq ft • 5 mile radius of RG2 0JZ - 600 sq ft The service was procured through a simplified Invitation to Tender procedure due to the relatively low value of the contract and the nature of the service requirement. The total value of the contract is approximately £50,000 for the initial 12 months contract term based on current spend including temporary additional storage, with a total contract lifecycle value of up to £95,000 if the 12 months extension period is enacted by the Commissioner. The service has commenced on 1st June 2023. This procurement has been carried out by NHS South, Central and West Commissioning Support Unit (SCW) on behalf of the Commissioner(s).
