Structural Repair Works @ 27 Bankwell Crescent, Strathmiglo

Tender description

The Sub-Contract Works Package (SCWP) comprises structural underpinning works to the rear of 27 Bankwell Crescent, Strathmiglo KY14 7PY. To include all supervision, labour, plant and materials to carry out the full package of works as described in the accompanying tender documents. Please note: Fife Council Building Services (FCBS) will be providing joiners, plumbers and electricians, to remove and reinstate the kitchen units/internal door sets/kitchen skirting/radiators etc. where this is required to allow remedial works to progress (though where possible these will remain in position). Works on the "Enabling Works" drawing will also be completed by others. Tenderers must allow for all other works required to complete the underpinning works within their tender submissions. The SCWP will be awarded as a FIXED PRICE sub-contract. The SCWP will be awarded as a LUMP SUM sub-contract. Design Elements are: NIL (though there is some engineer design work required, as highlighted in the package). The site is located at: 27 Bankwell Crescent, Strathmiglo, KY14 7PY. Access to the site for delivery and egress for materials, plant and labour etc. will be via routes identified and agreed with the Principal Contractor. All tenderers will be deemed to have familiarised themselves with the nature of surrounding land use and have included in their tender for all costs reasonably associated with ensuring the health and safety of the public/occupiers of the properties; and must visit the site to fully acquaint themselves with the nature and condition of the site and its surrounds, including access routes, all existing above / below ground services and such like. No claims for additional costs as a result of a lack of knowledge of the site and the surrounds will be accepted by Fife Council. Access to view can be arranged via Gavin.Todd@fife.gov.uk.
