Tender description

The majority of the works will consist of the carrying out of loft insulation in council houses throughout the city which do not currently meet the required 270mm depth in loft insulation standard. The council will provide address lists for the surveys to be undertaken on council houses. Although address lists will be provided, it will be the companies responsibility to organise contact and access to the properties to enable the works to proceed. Ad-hoc lofts for installation a repair will also be required. A small number of cavities and underfloor insulation works will also be required on an Ad-Hoc basis.
