Sampling and Analysis of Private Water Supplies in County Wexford

Wexford County Council is required to monitor certain group water schemes, private premises, and some small public schemes which have their own wells. e.g. caravan parks, schools, pubs, etc. a) Compliance check (Group A) and audit (Group B) and duplicate/investigative sampling and analysis of drinking water from approximately 190 private water, group schemes, and some public schemes in County Wexford as set down by SI 122/2014 (European Drinking Water) Regulations 2014 as amended by SI 464 of 2017 Regulations and EU Water Directive 2020. The majority of schemes are sampled twice a year. b) In accordance with EPA requirements, all analysis of parameters in samples shall be accredited (except for taste, odour, free and total chlorine). c) Reporting of results to Wexford County Council each month. d) Contract is for two years starting January 1st 2023 with option for up to two number one year extensions.
