General Building Works Housing and associated common areas - Contracts 2 A & B

Tender description

The housing maintenance works are managed by the responsive repairs manager and supervisors generally maintain responsibility for works in designated council neighbourhoods. In line with the arrangement set out in the ITT 6.3.2, works will in general be awarded 60% to the first ranked contractor (contract 2a) and 40% to the second ranked contractor (Contract 2b) based principally on geographical areas, being provisionally North and south of the borough. However, if within 28 days of any formal notification that performance falls below 90% of any KPI target performance the contractor does not meet the required KPI the council may issue an increasing proportion of the contract works to the alternative contractor [Contractor 2a or 2b] until performance is recovered to the councils satisfaction.
