Artificial Intelligent (AI) enabled Student Engagement Platform (GALW/CON1560/2023)

Tender description

University of Galway is seeking to establish a Single Party Framework for an Artificial Intelligent (AI) enabled Student Engagement Platform. The initial contract will be to replicate or retain its current platform that extracts answers from existing knowledge management stores, databases and web pages for 20,000 students with an average of 17,000 questions asked and answered in the 12 months preceding publication of this tender. The platform will provide analytics into student needs, based on user questions, with a Content Management System that empowers the University to centralize and share knowledge from one place. The platform will also provide a foundation to further build the AI capabilities and future potential developments may include integration with other student systems, virtual personal assistant functionality, and the possibility to integrate with other messaging apps as technologies progress.
