23018 Cambridgeshire County Council - Information and advice to older people who express an interest in the Household Support Fund

Tender description

The provider of this service will be the first point of contact for people above state pension age who are seeking support from the Household Support Fund. The provider will make awards from the Household Support Fund in line with the current eligibility criteria as part of our Trusted Group network and will also provide holistic information and advice regarding other support that the applicant may be entitled to. This may include welfare benefits, housing, care choices, carers support, health, and guidance on completing forms and applications, among other topics. The provider will also be expected to work with other organisations and partners operating in this space to improve the provision of wrap around support to this cohort. The contract is for an initial term of 12 months, with an optional extension period of up to a further 12 months. It is a call-off from Peterborough City Council's Early Intervention and Prevention Pseudo Dynamic Purchasing System.
