International Emergency Medical Assistance Services

Tender description

This was a retender of the international emergency medical assistance contract as the current contract expired at the end of May 2023 with no further options to extend. The service provides advice and assistance to BBC employees and freelancers travelling overseas on BBC business. The service will include the provision of assistance in the event of a medical emergency. - e.g. advice on where to find medical assistance and remote intervention into the provision of appropriate care, settling medical bills directly wherever possible and/or arranging medical evacuation. The service also provide pre-deployment reports for territories to which BBC personnel may be deployed, highlighting notable local risks and giving useful emergency information.
