CONTRACT FOR THE PROVISION OF ALCOHOL HARM REDUCTION AND EXPERT ADVICE SERVICE The Authority has a requirement for the provision of a alcohol harm reduction and expert advice service. The successful Service Provider shall deliver a combination of quality assured alcohol health promotion and risk reduction materials (physical and digital content) to military staff. The successful provider will also work closely with Defence Authorities to provide alcohol harm reduction expertise to advise on policy development and service delivery programmes. The Service Provider shall deliver two services. The first is to provide a range of alcohol health promotion, education, prevention, skills development and early intervention materials. These will be supplied as both physical and digital content and should be tailored to the needs of Defence both in terms of content and style (imagery and tone). The second is to provide expertise, advice and guidance on clinical, research and general policy developments and may include an international element within the field of alcohol and alcohol related harm reduction. The provider will be expected to work across Defence and meet the needs of a variety of stakeholders ranging from Defence primary and dental care services through to the needs of each single service (Army, Royal Navy and RAF) including supplying what they require to support military health promotion initiatives and programmes. Cyber Security: The MoD has a duty to protect itself from Cyber threats and now we extend this to Suppliers we engage with. All prime contractors must have the cyber security controls specified in DEF Stan 05-138 (Cyber Security for Defence Suppliers), as appropriate to the cyber risk level The Authority has determined the level of risk at Very Low (Reference: RAR- 280426855) as defined in DEF Stan 05-138.
