WSCC - Early Engagement for Accommodation Services

Tender description

This soft market testing exercise aims to identify the potential to increase the number and type of organisations who would be interested in the delivery of accommodation to West Sussex County Council. The council is seeking providers of 4 main types of accommodation: 1. Temporary Accommodation Houses for families of children and young people whose families are homeless, and also for refugees and migrants who may be Ukrainian, Afghan and Sudanese. 2. Rooms in Houses of Multiple Occupancy for Ukrainian, Afghan and Sudanese refugees and migrants. 3. Temporary Access Beds (for 16 & 17 year olds) 4. Unregistered accommodation The Council would like to identify providers of these services in order that through soft market testing the council can better understand the capacity and available supply of such accommodation in West Sussex and then moving forward engage with providers to understand how a procurement for such requirements might best be structured. The Council is therefore carrying out a soft market testing exercise to engage in early informal dialogue prior to any formal procurement taking place. Providers interested should contact Nick Buchanan by 17:00 on 16/06/2023. Following this, the Council will contact providers as soon as they respond to seek feedback on the delivery of accommodation services to West Sussex County Council.
