Tender description
The scope of this project is to seek one or more service providers to deliver 2 separate specialist technical skilled bootcamps, under Category 4 - Engineering, Manufacturing Technologies and Vehicle Operations of the Learning & Teaching DPS. The two Skills Bootcamp programmes are as follows: 5. F Gas Engineers 6. Heat Pump Engineeers. The Service Provider(s) shall be expected to deliver high quality flexible training programmes to address the needs of adults aged 19+. Delivery is based at level 3 – 5 with a maximum delivery of 16 weeks and a minimum of 60 Guided Learning Hours (GLH) based on employer sector demand. All learning must be instructed under the guidance of a lecturer, supervisor tutor or appropriate provider of education and training whilst on the skills bootcamps. All projects must demonstrate extensive evidence of employer involvement in the design of their delivery of their skills Bootcamps. Lot 75231: Lot 5 - F Gas Engineers This Lot is for a Service Provider to provide F Gas Engineer Skills Bootcamp and will provide the industry recognised qualifications and skills to existing heating engineers to transition to the heat pump market. The programme is designed to transition existing heating engineers to confidently install, commission both monobloc and split type heat pumps. Lot 75234: Lot 6 - Heat Pump Engineers This Lot is for a Service Provider to provide Monobloc Heat Pump Engineer Skills Bootcamp and shall transition existing gas heating engineers to confidently install, commission and service monobloc heating systems. The programme will include MCS recognised BPEC heat pump systems qualifications and a BPEC Low temperatures Hot Water Heating Systems designed
