Blackpool Eco Coaching Project (Shared Prosperity Funded)

Tender description

Blackpool Council has appointed a Service Provider to provide a small team to deliver practical 1 to 1 support and guidance to residents to help them understand domestic energy efficiency and how their behaviour can increase/decrease energy consumption. This projected is supported by Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) and will conclude in March 2025. Lot 1: Blackpool Council has appointed a Service Provider to provide a small team to deliver practical 1 to 1 support and guidance to residents to help them understand domestic energy efficiency and how their behaviour can increase/decrease energy consumption. The ultimate aim is to lower the carbon emissions of individual properties, with a tangible benefit to the households in the form of reduced energy costs and household utility bills. The team, internally referred to as Eco Coaches, will visit residents homes to complete a domestic energy assessment providing room by room guidance to maximise the efficiency of the property. The visit also includes the installation of low cost energy saving devices such as draft proofing, low energy lightbulbs and radiator reflector panels. This projected is supported by Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) and will conclude in March 2025.
