This Expression of Interest (EOI) to determine the capacity & availability of providers within the Tywi cluster area to meet specific requirements of Health Boards for NHS Dental Services. Lot 1: This initial Expression of Interest (EOI) to determine the capacity & availability of providers within the Tywi cluster area to meet specific requirements of Health Boards for NHS Dental Services. The purpose is to provide sufficient information, in an auditable and open manner, to enable providers to gauge whether or not they have the capacity to meet the specific requirement prior to the opportuning being conducted via an invitation to tender (ITT) via Bravo eTenderWales, using the Light Touch Regime procedure, inviting bids from suppliers, to include local suppliers and Welsh SMEs. Description of Service: Provision of General Dental Services to the population of Tywi cluster area. Estimated Volument: 350 New Patients 530 New Urgent Patients 4300 Historic Patients Health Board will consider part contract value allocation, dependant on level of interest expressed Expected number of cases per week: Approximate number of cases per week: 7 New Patients 10 New Urgent Patients 83 Historic Patients It is expected that New Patient activity will be higher during year 1 & 2 to support appropriate level of historic patient base thereafter All dentist performers must be included on the GDC register and Welsh Health Board performer list. All other Dental Care Professionals (DCP’s) will possess the appropriate GDC registration New patients and Urgent New patients will be allocated from Health Board Waiting list and Urgent Dental Access pathway Activity will be reported via compass using current FP17W claim form. The provider will notify The Heath Board of circumstances affecting Practice ability to deliver services as expected
