Provision of EMV and Operational Open Payments (Transit) Specialist Services

Tender description

The scope of services includes the provision of specialist advice in the field of contactless EMV payments in a transit environment in order to facilitate the development and implementation of the Authority’s strategy for introducing EMV for paying for passenger transport services. The scope of services also includes the provision of specialist advice on setting up and managing all back office operational aspects necessary to oversee the operation of EMV payments in a transit environment in order to ensure that the Authority is fully prepared from a revenue assurance perspective, bearing in mind that the majority of services are outsourced. While any interested party may tender, the Authority is not seeking to appoint a team of advisors. The services are for the provision of one individual EMV Specialist and one individual Operational Open Payments (Transit) Specialist who will participate in the existing Next Generation Ticketing team as required.
