Among the duties placed on Local Authorities by The Short Breaks for Carers of Disabled Children Regulations 2011 are the stipulations that they must: provide a range of short breaks services; and give families the choice to access short breaks services using a direct payment. Short Breaks services are a key part of the fulfilment of these duties. The London Borough of Bromley - The Council - is looking for providers to deliver Short Breaks services for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities SEND. The Service Provider must always aim to provide a positive experience for the child or young person as well as a break for the carer. The tender opportunity will be run through the London Tenders Procurement Portal and you will need to register your company with the portal as soon as possible (if you have not already done so) at www.londontenders.org to ensure that you are able to access and submit the relevant documents online.
