Great South West Partnership Communication Support

The contracted supplier will work to the Heart of the SW LEP’s Chief Operating Officer and will also involve direct contact with Great SW’s Director. The support is to provide day-to-day Great South West communications activity. PR and comms service to be provided April 2023 – end March 2024. We are looking for supplier/s with demonstrable experience of: • producing newsletters • handling of media enquiries • writing press releases • promotions via social media channels – Twitter and LinkedIn – and growing presence on social media • creating and updating websites • development of appropriate board report and management information to guide planning • sourcing Ministerial quotes for Great SW activity and liaising with any partners in production of comms & PR for this activity. • Budget management across the above The work may also involve the following, but it is not envisaged this will form a major part of the role • Speech writing • Development of bespoke comms materials (primarily web and print) for e.g. a potential input to a Budget/ fiscal event, party conference season.
