Good Food Retail and Wholesaler Project

Tender description

The subject matter of this process relates to the delivery of services which are listed in Schedule 3 of the Public Contract Regulations. The project sits under the Whole Systems Approach to Healthy Weight action plan to create healthier places for children, young people and families to live, learn and play. It will work within targeted geographical areas, as identified by the Public Health team, based on local NCMP and deprivation data. In each phase of the project (2 phases planned over 2 years), the provider will work with 10-12 food retailers including: Local stores/shops selling convenience/pre-packaged foods (examples include but not limited to. newsagents, petrol stations, corner shops) Wholesalers Schools. The contract period will be 24 months, commencing on 28 April 2023 and expiring 27 April 2025.
