Electrical Installations and Testing (Domestic)

Tender description

St Leger Homes of Doncaster Ltd (SLHD) invites quotes from contractors that provide qualified electrical installation and testing services to perform associated works within the housing stock that it manages for Doncaster Metropolitan Borough Council (DMBC). SLHD currently have a high level of outstanding electrical works that need to be undertaken within domestic properties and SLHD is currently looking at its future strategy of how these works will be resolved and undertaken. Outstanding works affect service delivery for associated repair and maintenance teams and mean inconvenience and dissatisfaction for tenants in tenanted properties. For void properties, planned work being rescheduled means that repairs and maintenance are delayed and disrupted, impacting on SLHD's ability to generate income for that property. When planned repairs and maintenance have to be rescheduled this results in trade operatives being unproductive for periods of time, which has a cost attached to it.
